For us, it began simply as a challenge to up the ante in the soda space. There were so many sodas out there. Yet we could not find a beverage that satisfied our adult desires—something that is interesting and complex with low sugar, no caffeine and natural to boot. So we set out to raise the bar!

Tapping into the Culinary World

Amidst a growing “foodie” culture with so many of us looking for interesting and exciting taste experiences—who better to turn to than chefs to inspire us? So, we invited 12 chefs from across the country to a Chef Summit, where we worked intensely to create unique and sophisticated flavor combinations. The chefs helped us develop a soft drink with delicious layers of complexity, one that is just as good with food or on its own. Basically, an everyday soda full of intriguing flavors and light, bubbly tastes.

Continuing on our journey to create a beverage with more character, we were ecstatic to discover a unique fermentation process that brings out the more complex and subtle flavors of fruits—all naturally, without adding sugar to the process. Only the magic of fermentation could deliver the delicious tastes we were out to achieve.
